Belfast city breaks

If you are coming over from the UK and looking forward to a bit of 'craic' (Irish slang for 'good time') then Belfast is a great spot to explore. The Irish are renown for being a little party mad. A lot of Irish blame this on the constant rain; the need to get out to a pub was the only thing to keep them sane. The thing is though, now Ireland has great summers yet everyone is still party mad. Well, I guess it can't be blamed on the weather any more; the Irish just love a good party!

Belfast is no exception when it comes to great pub nights, excellent live music and mad nights out. The city streets are paved with carnivals, festivals, live music, history and culture. Belfast really has everything you could want from a great weekend city break.

If you decide that you want to do something a little more relaxed on the second night, why not visit the Grand Opera House? Here you can see some amazing shows and it is the perfect way to unwind after a mad night. Maybe you could head down to Belfast Castle to take a few snaps of this magnificent structure.
