Fuerteventura is probably the best known resort on the Canary Islands. With gorgeous sunny weather, clear blue sea and fabulous beaches, British families flock there to enjoy the weather and the water parks. Most travel agencies offer package deals that include flights but if you are planning your own trip and want to book flights separately there are several websites that you can consult.
The major tour operators such as Thomson and Thomas Cook sell flights without accommodation so it is worth taking a look at their websites to see if you can bag a deal. Otherwise travelsupermarket.com is always a good place to start if you have the time to compare the different options with regard to carrier, dates and departure airport.
Cheapflights.co.uk is another good website to investigate. Again you can compare different carriers and see who is offering the best deal that meets your requirements. If you prefer to stay with a tried and tested carrier then it is worth taking a look at the easyjet and Ryanair websites to see if they can match the other cheap deals out there.
It is definitely worth remembering that most people travel on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday so air fares tend to be more expensive. If you can, try to travel on a weekday to avoid price hikes although during the peak season of the school summer holidays you may find little variation.
