Fly to Egypt this summer
Egypt is easily accessible from Britain and flights from London take approximately a mere five hours. There are many international airports across Egypt. Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, Sharm el Sheikh, Marsa Alam and Taba are only some of them. You can travel to the above mentioned cities with the national airline, Egypt Air, the main foreign national airlines including BA, and several low cost companies including EasyJet and Jet2. Cairo is the capital of Egypt and its largest city. It’s also the commercial and industrial hub of Egypt and it offers great shopping, leisure and nightlife activities. Alexandria is the country’s second largest city, also known as The Pearl of the Mediterranean. It actually has an atmosphere that is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. Luxor has become, over the last few years, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Egypt with its fantastic and well preserved monuments, including the Karnak Temple, the largest temple in the world. Aswan is Egypt’s southernmost city, with a distinctive African atmosphere, where you can enjoy the most beautiful views on the Nile. Sharm El Sheikh is a world famous tourist destination on the Red Sea coast, renowned for its luxurious five star resorts, water sports, shopping and entertainment.
