Flying to Portugal?
Flight time to Portugal is short – just two and a half hours, and the country shares the same time zone as Britain making it an ideal short hop away for guaranteed summer sunshine. There are frequent flights from all of Britain’s airports to Faro on a daily basis in peak season. At the moment, easyjet are offering several flights a day to Faro from London Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Travelling on a Saturday in July, the cheapest outbound flight we can find with this carrier is £65.99 from Luton, and return is £45.99 also into Luton. If you are willing to travel on a week day you can expect to pay a bit less. Monarch Airways are also offering flights to Faro from Luton in August for just £47.99 one way. Lastminute.com and Expedia are also well worth a look as they often have real bargains if you are happy to make late plans.
