None of the crossing routes are terribly long, making Brittany the perfect retreat for families. The Brittany Ferries line runs several routes from Portsmouth to Caen, St Malo and Cherbourg, Poole to Cherbourg, Plymouth to Roscoff and Cork to Roscoff. The best price that they are currently offering is £251 for a return trip for two adults including car from Portsmouth to Caen in September. P&O also sail to Brittany and currently have a special deal offering a free Disneyland Paris ticket for every Dover to Calais ferry ticket bought before 15th November 2009 for travel before 1st April 2010.
