Mumbai Flights
Mumbai, is also known as Bombay and is a great tourist destination for those wishing to see the real India. It is also a great place of interest to those who want to see the real culture of India including some of the poorer communities in the city. The main airport in Mumbai is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport which is the largest airport in terms of volume in the country and provides the most options for visitors into Mumbai. There are now quite a few operators going in and out of Mumbai and undoubtedly the best on offer are for those flying from the UK are Air India, British Airways and Jet Airways. The airport is some 28 kilometres outside the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and there are a large number of buses and taxis into the city centre. While the city itself may seem a little daunting given the number of people, you will soon find that the people are very friendly and welcoming once you respect their way of life. If you are interested in seeing the slum areas of the city, tours can be arranged. Try to book one which incorporates some degree of charity or gives back to the community and make your trip really worthwhile!
