Take a cool cruise around the Caribbean
A cruise Virgin holidays starts at about £599 and covers all the vital islands as well as a few surprise additions to the route. According to the blurb, a Caribbean cruise is about more than just sunbathing (presumably there’s some sailing involved as well). The Caribbean islands are seeped in history, from Nelson’s dockyard to something historical in St Kitts, geeks are as well catered for as jocks, sun chasers, OAPs or just plain lazy folk who want to drink rum and get a foot rub. On and off the boat a Caribbean cruise is a cool way to enjoy 24/7 sun, lush beaches and touristy activities. If you want more punch to your pound, a cruise around Western Caribbean will take in sights around Jamaica and Belize, home of the Seven Mile Beach and ancient Mayan civilisation. Aside from the hot spots of the Caribbean, most cruise operators will accommodate your every whim, and all inclusive packages take the burden off the hidden costs you might come across on holiday. Most boats have ample services including great value dining experiences and on-board entertainment. You could travel the whole Caribbean and never set foot on land, you probably shouldn’t though, you might miss out.
