We take a look at a luxury Sicily hotel
With a beautiful climate, ancient ruins, majestic mountains and pretty harbours, Sicily really is a romantic dream destination. Of course, if you are visiting to celebrate such a momentous occasion, you will want an extra special hotel to stay in. We love the look of the Casa Talia. It is an intimate seven bedroom B&B hotel in the heart of Modica, a region protected by UNESCO. All seven rooms including the two suites are inspired by Sicily's history and have as such incorporated Spanish, Greek and Arabic touches. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, beauty treatments and massages, king sized beds, flatscreen rooms, private terraces or outside space. Expect to pay from 130 euro per night which includes 10% tax. The hotel has a minimum two night policy which is no hardship given the stunning location and delightful ambience. Children are welcomed with no extra charge for those under three. Breakfast is served in a cool white cave with extra outdoor dining under the shade of the olive groves and pomegranate trees.
