We take a look at cheap Ireland flights
Whether you are thinking of flying to Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland, there are plenty of airports to choose from, as well as airlines and flights. The flight time from England, Scotland and Wales is at most an hour and in some cases a little less. The time difference is one hour ahead of GMT and the national currency is the euro. The main budget airlines offering cheap flights to Ireland are Easyjet and Ryanair. Aer Lingus and Air France also offer some great deals on flights to Ireland. The best deal we have found on flights from London to Ireland is a return flight from London Gatwick to Knock airport in Southern Ireland for just £50 including all taxes. This is with Aer Lingus and is for flights departing on 28th September and returning on 5th October. If you have to be more specific with your travel dates you should check the websites of the airline for prices on the dates that you wish to travel. Typically, the budget airlines offer fewer of the amazing deals that they offered some years ago, but if you book far enough in advance or take advantage of the sale periods that they have, for example Easyjet flights, you should be able to get a good price for flights. If your dates are flexible you could always try Expedia or lastminute who again have some fantastic offers for people able and willing to travel at the drop of a hat. They can also arrange car hire once you arrive in Ireland and accommodation should you so wish.
